32:11 Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, O righteous, and shout for joy all you
upright in heart
Be
glad. Being glad and having joy seem to go hand in hand. I mean how can you be
glad and not be joyful. God’s word is telling us here to be glad in the Lord.
To be happy and content in what God brings to us despite what “I” might want. To
be content is defined as “satisfied with what one is or has not wanting more or
anything else.” Perhaps satisfaction, contentment and joy all go hand in hand.
Being able to rest in knowing, believing, and trusting that God really does
know what’s best for me!
