29:11 A fool gives full vent to his spirit but a wise man quietly holds back
Sometimes
it isn’t a great idea to speak your mind. Sometimes it isn’t a great idea to
share your opinions; even if your intentions are pure. Sometimes it is
acceptable to tell someone what you think. The wisdom comes in knowing the difference.
Wisdom comes in being able to “quiet your spirit” when it really wants to shout
out loud. This is one of my most favorite verses, and recently I have gone back
to it repeatedly. I have found peace in applying this verse. There is much
peace to be found in a quiet spirit.
