Genesis
31:34 And my people shall be satisfied with my goodness declares the Lord
The
very definition of contentment is being satisfied with the goodness of God.
Being satisfied with who He is and what He has given to us. To stop striving
for what we think should be ours and just rest in Him. We also can find
ourselves fighting against being obedient to whatever He wants for our lives.
Resting in His goodness will always bring about contentment. This isn’t an easy
process it’s a hard one; despite how easy it sounds because once again we will
fight against what our flesh wants to do. I am thankful that I don’t have to
fight I can rest in and be satisfied with His goodness!
