3 not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock
This
is one of those verses that you just read over not really giving much attention
to, unless, its happened to you. Unless you have ever been in a position to
feel like the God’s word, which is precious, and a double edged sword, has been
used as a hammer on your life and not in a way that’s meant to edify and grow
you. Not unless you have ever had someone in authority try to hammer their
personal opinions into your life as if they were gospel. Then you realize how
different domineering and being an example really are!
