Ezekiel
34:11 For thus says the Lord God; Behold, I, I myself will search for my sheep
and will seek them out.
We
will never be without our Shepherd. No matter how far we travel (and it’s always
us traveling away from Him) we can never get too far that God cannot deliver us
back to Him. How comforting that even in the midst of great rebellion God even
wants to find us? Sometimes we are just lost in the grief of circumstances and
God reaches to us with His comfort. Sometimes we are lost in the midst of
trials and God strengthens us when we have lost our own strength. Sometimes we
are lost in busy-ness and God slows us down. No matter what our situations are
if He is our Shepherd we will never stray too far from Him. He will not allow
it!
