Not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock
Being
an example…that’s a daunting task. That means that you have to be right in your
conduct and your words, if you are to correctly lead anyone else. You have to
be able to say “no” to your flesh when you really want to say “yes”. Being an
example is not for the faint of heart; it’s for the heart that is fully
entrusted to God and turned to Him. How very grateful I am that standing in the
pulpit of our church is a man that is an example to all.
