   1 Peter 3:16-22

   V 17 For it is better to suffer for doing good it that should be God’s will than for doing evil

   This is a hard concept to grasp. That someone would persecute us for doing something good or godly. Maybe we cant understand how people would choose to do opposite what God would have them to do. Yet, this happens all the time; most of the time actually. The ways of God and the ways of man will not meet. When we choose the path of Christ those around us will possibly not understand that choice. Their response will be to ridicule and possibly persecute us. This is really to be expected; God’s word told us about it didn’t it!
