Hebrews
12:28 Therefore let us be grateful for receiving
a kingdom that cannot be shaken and thus let us offer to God acceptable
worship, with reverence and awe
Our
gratefulness is expressed in our worship; our worship is how we show others
that we are thankful. Worship, what is it; well some think it’s just the
singing portion of your church service. No doubt that is part of it, but
worship is much more. We worship God in how we give to Him; whether it is in
the aspect of our monetary gifts or our service; giving to Him the first fruits
of our labor. We worship Him when we raise godly children in the fear and admonition
of the Lord. We worship Him when we follow His commandments; even when the
world will never understand why. We worship Him every day, in every aspect of
our lives. If we know that we are His and we believe that His kingdom is firm
and unshakeable, then we must worship. It must be our natural reaction.
