John1:13 Who were born not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God
No matter what our “will” might be it will not come to pass in our lives without it being God’s Will. This verse is specifically speaking of salvation and the fact that it belongs to God alone, but I think that it could also apply to situations in our lives. How hard have we tried to make things work out a certain way in our life, yet no matter how hard we try it never works out the way we intended? This is because it isn’t what God intended. I think that’s the hardest lesson to learn as a believer. Sometimes things just don’t work out, and no matter how much you want those to they never will. As much pain and heartache that can be associated with this, there is also great peace. We can rest in knowing that God controls the outcomes of our lives, and if you believe God’s word it will result in your good.
